Edgar Torres:  Born in Buena vista, Michoacan, Mexico, raised in Cambria California since the age of eight.  Edgar fell in love with wine in Paso Robles.  He was worked at a few wineries and is currently the assistant winemaker at Barrel 27 while working with varieties that are special to his heart and heritage.  Bodega de Edgar wines are unique and exceptional: just like their winemaker.  Unfortunately they are all very small production and therefore availability is very limited.

Straight Out of Paso features the varietals that put Paso Robles on the map. They are crafted to represent this appellation stylistically with approachability in mind. Paso Robles isn't just a wine country; it's cattle country, farming country and home to 30,000 close community members. These wines are a tribute to this great wine region and the culture that hasn't gotten lost in the grape vines.
