The Farm Winery

Famed Argentine “cult” winemaker Santiago Achával along with partners Jim and Az Madsen take great pride in crafting small amounts of hand-made wine from the Westside hills of Paso Robles. They take even greater pride in the care and detail given to the vineyards these wines are sourced from. Custom farmed and sourced from some of the regions highest elevation (Terra Bella -1800’, Adelaida Springs Ranch – 1700’, Starr – 1650’) and oldest Cabernet vineyards (Old Bailey – planted in 1964), Santiago crafts special wines that are expressive interpretations of the exceptional terroir and micro-climates of these unique vineyard blocks.   With a total production of only 700 cases these wines are certainly to be cherished.
