While the soils and sun of the Central Coast are the foundation of the viticultural revolution we are so jubilantly experiencing, it is the glorious champions these conditions attract who have taken us to this new age. By the time Michael Bonaccorsi left his wine buying position, he had deservingly become the most respected and influential sommelier on the west coast. He gave up the security of being the uncontested judge of wines, to produce his own. Mike's wines recieved excellent accolades and were served at many of the top restaurants in the US. In January 2004, he suddenly passed away at the young age of 43. Michael’s dream now continues on through the capable hands of his wife Jenne Lee and family. The Bonaccorsi Family Wine Company carries on making great wines with love, humility and great joy!
